I’m Sarah (she/her). I am a Celebrant with the wonderful Celebrate People who promote humanist and spiritual values. I am here for everyone who shares a belief in equality, compassion, tolerance and love for all; beliefs that underpin all ceremonies that we conduct. I’m based in Glasgow and will travel around Scotland and beyond.

My style is light-hearted, relaxed, warm and sincere, with gravitas at the right moments!

I am authorised by the Registrar General to conduct legal marriage and civil partnership in Scotland. I also conduct funerals, non-legal weddings, naming/welcoming days. From low-key and intimate, to a massive party, alternative, and offbeat or something a bit more traditional, working out what feels right for you is important. I want to help folks to have times that feel meaningful and true to you.

I'll work with you, ensuring you know the options open to you, and trusting that you know best what is right for you and your loved ones. I'm always on hand for guidance and ideas!

Together we'll create a welcoming and open space for love to shine.

She was extremely helpful and supportive with us during the planning of our special day and very understanding and accommodating when we had to change the date twice due to the covid pandemic.

    When our special day arrived, Sarah made it really special and put both of us at ease. The ceremony was just perfect with a mixture of fun, laughter and love. Sarah captured our love story and our love for each other with many of our guests commenting how lovely the ceremony was.

  • Our Perfect Wedding Ceremony

    We got to know Sarah through a friend’s recommendation and having met her we were sure we had found the right person to conduct our wedding ceremony.

    Sarah guided us every step of the way and explained all our options resulting in a ceremony that fully reflected us and our life. She gave helpful pointers and timely reminders in the run up to the wedding.

    On the day itself, we were up against a red weather warning which meant we had to change timings to keep everybody safe. Sarah was in constant communication with us, helping us to find a solution which meant we could go ahead. And the ceremony itself was just beautiful and the whole day all the more memorable for it.

  • Wedding for Us Not Others

    We first met Sarah by chance at a wedding fair, we had spoke to other celebrants but just didn’t click. Sarah was AMAZING!!!As soon as we left her table we knew we had found the perfect person to fit with our day.

    Sarah was amazing at guiding us through the whole process and out of everyone we dealt with throughout the experience she was the best. We spoke about having a chilled out day with our daughter and nieces involved and she was great at suggesting things. We sealed our words in stone also which made it more personal and a bit different.

A jump back to the wedding of the lovely Karen and Ross. They met at primary school and got together in their teens. Little did they know back then the epic adventure ahead of them. Sweethearts for life. It still makes me grin to think of them.
